Blue Hill—With a win over Central on May 29 and a tight 9-8 loss to Mount Desert Island the day before, the Eagles baseball team remains ranked second behind Bucksport as the regular season winds to an end. The top two teams and rivals haven’t faced each other since earlier in the season, when the Eagles won 7-5. Their game this week was postponed, twice, because of heavy rains and will be played June 4, their final game of the season.
With the top five teams earning a bye in the playoff prelim game, the Eagles will play the quarterfinals at home on June 11.
