Rain delays boys varsity soccer playoffs
Blue Hill—The George Stevens Academy varsity boys soccer team should have had its quarterfinal game played and, hopefully, won by now, with their semifinal game on Friday, but heavy wind and rain has pushed back the schedule.
The Eagles are now tentatively scheduled to host #6 Bucksport (7-7) on FRiday, October 27 at 2 p.m., according to GSA Athletic Director Larry Gray. If the #3 Eagles (9-1-4) take the quarterfinal win, they will likely face #2 Orono (9-1-4) in Orono on Saturday, tentatively set for noon— unless #7 Central (7-6-1) pulls a major upset against Orono in their quarterfinal.
