BANGOR—Eagles Coach Dwayne Carter and two of his standout players—Nick Szwez and Will Entwisle—were named to the 2016 Maine McDonald’s Class C/D North High School Senior All-Star Team. Deer Isle-Stonington standout girls basketball player Ally Eaton was named to the 2016 Maine McDonald’s Class C/D North High School Senior All-Star Team. Junior Jarrod Chase was named the Foul Shooting Regional Champion for the East Region, the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches and organizers of the 2016 Maine McDonald’s High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games announced.

The all-stars were selected based upon ballot returns in a statewide high school basketball coaches’ vote conducted by the MABC in January.
This year’s All-Star Basketball Games are scheduled for Saturday, March 12, at Newman Gymnasium on the campus of Husson University in Bangor. The game-day program will feature head-to-head competition between top players in the state in North vs. South basketball action. The Class C/D boys all-stars will play at 1 p.m. Chase will compete in the State Foul Shooting Championship at Husson on game day, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
