The boys end the season with a 4-12 record in 10th place and are playing better. We have a tough schedule and have had a lot of close games with some of the top teams and just need to stay focused. We played Greater Houlton Christian in a preliminary game on June 6, which we won 6-0.
Our next stop was at Husson University against Bangor Christian High School on June 7 in a quarterfinal contest. The Mariners lost 0-6 to end their season 4-13.
Editor’s note: This story was corrected June 9—the DIS team faced Bangor Christian in a quarterfinal, not semifinal, game, and updated to reflect the result of that game.
