The Eagles hosted Orono in a post-Christmas game on December 27, losing 37-29 in a battle lost in the fourth quarter. The girls began the final minutes with a 27-21 lead but a strong Orono defense and a 16-2 outscoring by the Red Riots contributed to the Eagle’s loss. Morgan Dauk scored 15 points and Hanna Gutow played strong from the floor. The girls are 4-3 after a win over Deer Isle-Stonington on December 23 at home.
The Eagles hit the road for their next three games, returning to home court on January 17 against Sumner.
