DEER ISLE—A strong third quarter pushed the Mariner varsity girls basketball team to a 56-41 win at home against Bangor Christian on January 13. Heading into the second half tied at 28, Deer Isle-Stonington outscored Bangor Christian 20-6 in the third on the way to their second victory of the season.
