George Stevens Academy senior Mallory Charette shoots to score as the Eagle varsity girls basketball team finds its first win of the season against Bucksport in December. The team followed that up with a 55-39 victory over Sumner before faltering against Mattanawcook and Calais during the school break. The girls are 2-6 before facing Central January 3. A good chance to see them win is Saturday when they take on Lee Academy who as yet to win a game this season. Tip-off is 1 p.m. at GSA.
