Blue Hill—The George Stevens Academy baseball team took a 4-0 win over Bucksport in a Memorial Day showdown on Monday, May 27, in Blue Hill.

Parker and the George Stevens Academy defense held the Bucks scoreless in the top of the first inning, making quick work of the top of the Bucksport batting order. The Eagles put two men on base in the bottom of the inning but were unable to bring them across the plate.
The bats came alive in the third inning, as GSA drove in two runs to take a 2-0 lead going into the fourth inning. The offense tacked on two more runs in the game while solid defensive play and pitching held the Bucks scoreless.
The Eagles beat Dexter the following day, May 28, 4-1, to take a regular season 14-1 record and the top spot in Class C North, narrowly ahead of 14-1 Fort Kent. The two teams faced each other in the playoffs two seasons ago, with the Warriors coming up with the upset.
