The George Stevens Academy girls and boys indoor track teams took second and sixth, respectively, at an Eastern Maine Track League meet at the University of Maine in Orono on January 26. The girls recorded 92 team points, while the boys had 13. Pictured is runner Gabriyah Gadsby during one of her races. Girls finishes: 4×800 relay: 1st place, Gadsby, Oceana Ragot, Elia O’hara, Lannea Zentz. 55 meter hurdles: 1st place, Grace Broughton. 55 meter dash: 5th place, Broughton. 1 mile run: 3rd place, Josie Czuj. 400 meter dash: 4th place, Zentz. 800 meter run: 2nd place, Gadsby; 3rd place, Ragot. 200 meter dash: 1st place, Broughton; 3rd place, Hattie Slayton. 2 mile run: 3rd place, Czuj. 4×200 relay: 1st place, Slayton, Ivy Manner-Wheelden, Susanna Jakub, Zentz. Long jump: 7th place, Manner-Wheelden; 10th, Jakub. Triple jump: 3rd place, Syra Gutow. High jump: 2nd place, Manner-Wheelden. Boys finishes: 4×800 relay: 4th place, Meredith Bradshaw Thomas, Ian Howell, Duncan Howell, Nyamh Wolf. 400 meter dash: 6th place, Ian Renwick. 800 meter run: 2nd place, Bradshaw Thomas. 2 mile run: 7th place, Wolf. 4×200 relay: 6th place, Bradshaw Thomas, Renwick, Theo Lesco, Russell Lamarre. Long jump: 10th place, Lesco. Triple jump: 8th place, Lesco.
