GSA girls 5-4 after win at Sumner
The Eagles varsity girls won 59-38 at Sumner on January 5 to raise their record to 5-4. Morgan Dauk’s 29-point performance paced the Eagles, while Hannah Gutow and Megan Nowland each scored nine. The victory followed a 37-29 loss on December 27 to #4 Orono and a 55-41 loss at #5 Central on December 30. The girls are ranked ninth and face #1 Piscataquis in an away game on January 8. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
