Eagles roll into semifinals with 4-0 win over Bucksport

BLUE HILL—Dominant offensive play by the George Stevens Academy boys varsity soccer team led to a 4-0 quarterfinal win against Bucksport today in a game marked by aggressive play from both teams. Bucksport ends its season at 7-8.

Freshman Michael Moon scored two goals, while senior Taylor Schildroth scored late in the first half on a  penalty kick. Senior Ben Cole added to the four goals.

The GSA Eagles  will next face Orono in a semifinal match up on Saturday at noon, with Orono hosting. Both teams sport the same record, 10-4-1, and tied both times they met this season, most recently two weeks ago in Orono.
