GSA places first in the 800 meter relay

The George Stevens Academy indoor track team posted a second-place finish for the girls and third-place for the boys on January 7 at the Eastern Maine Indoor Track League meet at University of Maine Orono, competing against Mount Desert Island, John Bapst, Hermon and Foxcroft Academy. Powered by 4x800s relay teams that placed first for the boys and girls teams, top individual finishes from Zeya Lorio and Ollie Dillon (1 mile run), Eliza Broughton (800 meter run) led the Eagles to a final 61 points for the girls and 66 points for the boys. The team returns to UMO on Saturday, January 14.
