Blue Hill—Undefeated at 10-0 this season, and 30-1 since the start of the 2015-16 season, the George Stevens Academy varsity boys team is  rolling over the Class C North division teams.

For those in the bleachers, it can feel like there’s nothing else to do but sit back and enjoy the show.

On January 6, the Eagles posted a 97-69  win over previously undefeated Lee Academy, powered by 61 points from junior Taylor Schildroth and double-doubles by senior Jarrod Chase, who scored 17 points and 10 rebounds and junior Max Mattson with 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Four days later and the Eagles scored another win, 64-41 over Piscataquis, led by Schildroth’s 20 points and Chase’s 17.

With eight regular season games left to play, it’s time to start clearing calendars for the regional tournament in Bangor, which begins February 21. If the Eagles continue to cruise, they’ll defend their state title on March 4, also in Bangor.
