BLUE HILL—The George Stevens Academy softball team will face #10 Dexter tomorrow, June 8, at home at 3 p.m.

The Eagles edged a 7-6 win against Dexter late in May after a 5-3 loss earlier in the month.

“We’re very capable of beating this team. We beat them at home last time,” Coach Stormi Wentworth said.

George Stevens is ranked seventh, earning home field advantage for the preliminary playoff game. A win would send them to a quarterfinal match against #2 Bucksport on June 9. The Eagles are 7-9 for the regular season, which they closed out on June 1 wit a 16-1 loss to Mattanawcook.
