Blue Hill—The Eagles gave up only three hits in a match-up against Bucksport on May 26, ending with a 4-1 victory to finish top ranked among Eastern Class C teams.

Taylor Schildroth pitched six scoreless innings while Will Entwisle led at the plate with a single and two RBIs. Stefan Simmons scored an RBI double and, on the infield, Beckett Slayton guarded first base like a bull dog.

The team faced #3 Mattanawcook on June 1, with that score not available by press time.

The team earned a bye for the preliminary playoff game and will play at home in the quarterfinals on June 9, with their opponent yet to be determined.
