Eagle boys to meet Fort Kent in QF

Blue Hill—The top-ranked Eagle varsity boys will face Fort Kent in a play off quarterfinal Tuesday, February 16, at the Cross Center in Bangor.

After winning their final game of the season 46-39 over Searsport, the team finishes the regular season at 17-1. Their only loss was against Ellsworth on February 2.

Against Searsport, Taylor Schildroth lead GSA with 16 points, seven assists and five steals. Max Mattson finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots. Nick Szwez added six points and 10 rebounds.

A look ahead at the tournament bracket shows #4 Lee and #5 Schenck in the Eagles’ bracket, while #2 Fort Fairfield and #3 Bucksport are not—the Eagles can only meet either of those teams in the regional final.
